Great importance is placed on fostering children's interest and talent in the creative and performing arts. Pupils of all abilities are given every encouragement to realise their potential and to develop cultural awareness.

Music

St. Margaret's has a flourishing Music Department with well equipped facilities. Visiting musicians offer tuition in all orchestral instruments, piano, electric keyboard, guitar, percussion and solo singing. The children are entered for music examinations at all the recognised music schools. St Margaret's has its own orchestra, several choirs and various ensembles. The children perform regularly both in school and at venues such as The Royal Festival Hall. There is an annual evening concert in the spring term which demonstrates the diverse range of activities on offer.
